Here at Sterling Recruitment Services we are recruiting for a CNC Miller for a permanent role based in Gateshead.
Due to company growth this organisation is looking to add a CNC Miller to their team.
You will be required to work a varied shift system, Days, Backs and Nights, 37-42 hours per week depending on shift pattern.
Duties include
- To operate the machinery safely and effectively.
- Maximise machine efficiency levels
- Record and maintain relevant documentation
- Ensure a good standard of housekeeping is maintained at all times
- Any other tasks as requested by the Machine Shop Supervisor/Manager
Candidate Criteria
- Time served in an engineering discipline
- Experience of working in a heavy manufacturing environment
- Have good communication skills
- Have the ability to work on own initiative
- Be flexible when required
